Fighting For the Future of Alaska

It has been a privilege to raise a family and run a business in one of the most beautiful places on Earth: Palmer, Alaska. It has also been my distinct honor to serve in the House of Representatives for the last eight years and as Mayor from 2010 to 2016 to the town I'm so proud to call home. During my tenure I have been dedicated to running government in a way that is based not on abstract theory but on my own experience. I have been a staunch fiscal conservative and dedicated to the idea that government should let citizens be in charge of their own destinies. 
 
I want to continue keeping that same Alaskan individual spirit alive in Juneau. Government continues struggling to finding a way to balance needs and wants. The legislature continues to spend at unsustainable levels; we must stand firm against deficit spending.

Where DeLena Stands

Proven conservative leadership focused on fiscal responsibility, Alaska values, and putting families first.

DeLena believes in small government focused on essential services, and that the people know best how to spend their own money. We must keep private businesses free from excessive government regulation, keep our state budget as low as possible, and fight against the creation of new taxes. When we put the people first, Alaska will again live up to our motto, “North to the Future.”

Stop deficit spending. Deliver balanced budgets and protect the Permanent Fund Dividend (PFD).

Energy & Resource Development

We must address our energy needs in Southcentral. Building the gasline has to be our number one priority. The window of opportunity is now.

Public Safety & Education

Support law enforcement, reduce crime, and ensure our schools have the resources they need.

Family Values

Protect traditional Alaskan family values and parental rights.

Reduce the size and scope of government so Alaskans can keep more of what they earn.
